Canine parvovirus gastroenteritis is generally commonly known as "intestinal turn". It is a parasitic virus parasitizes in the mucosa layer of the gastrointestinal tract of dogs, splitting and reproduction causing gastrointestinal mucosa to break down, causing enteritis infected with small intestinal mucosa hemorrhage.
Hazards:
has a high incidence, strong contagion, and a high mortality rate, which is common in puppies.
What to do if a dog has a small size
Symptoms:
Early stage: listlessness; poor appetite; mild vomiting, fever; soft stool, gray, yellow or milky white, with jelly-like mucus;
Later stage: frequent vomiting; severe diarrhea, feces are foul-smelling soy sauce-like or tomato juice-like bloody stool; rapid dehydration, thinness, deep eye sockets; messy hair, inelastic skin, ears and nose, limbs are cold, mental depression, shock, death;
Treatment:
1. After puppies suffer from parvoviral hepatitis; treatment should be treated with intravenous fluid rehydration, stop diarrhea, stop bleeding, anti-inflammatory, anti-emetic and injected canine parvovirus monoclonal antibodies.
2. Strictly control diet after the disease occurs, fast and water, and prevent dehydration through infusion and other means.
Prevention:
1. Isolate sick dogs in time and repeatedly disinfect the living environment of the dog.
2. Vaccination is an effective measure to prevent this disease.
