The British media "The Sun" reported that Pickford may participate in motocross after retirement.

Pickford recently revealed that his only goal is to win the World Cup. But after his football career is over, he may find a career in another sport, motocross. Pickford grew up watching the sport with friends, one of whom, Carlton Hasband, now competes in the British Championships.

When asked if Pickford planned to return to motocross after retiring, Hasband said: "I'm sure he would be happy to do so."

Pickford is banned from racing due to strict rules in his contract, but he admitted it is one of the sports he very much wants to participate in. Instead, he experienced the sport indirectly through Hasband, always paying attention to the results of his friends when he couldn't attend the game in person.

Hasband said: "He used to go to the beach with us at five o'clock in the morning. We had a little track on the beach and he would help us time laps and stuff. Even now, he went to Preston Pier this year, which is not far from his house. He would come whenever he could."

"Every time I race, within a few minutes of the results being online, I will definitely get a message from him, not urging me to 'hurry up' He was like my psychological coach, giving us advice on how to relax and cope, such as staying calm. "He also financially supported us and invested money in the team. This sport costs a lot of money, but we are lucky that the team we work with has some business cooperation and can get a lot of support in this regard."
