
According to the "Manchester Evening News" report, Menu and Lisandro Martinez did not travel with the team to Tottenham. It seems that coach Amorim does not want to risk the latter's comeback.
At the pre-match press conference, Manchester United coach Amorim did not confirm the team's personnel situation for Tottenham, but Menu seemed to be left in Manchester. Martinez took part in a joint training session with the squad at Carrington last week, but United will not be rushing to get him back as he is still recovering from a cruciate ligament injury.
