Dogs may be afraid of snakes, but it depends on their specific growth environment and experience. For example, if a dog has been threatened by a snake, it is likely to be afraid of snakes; while the other dog may be quite assured to live with the snake.

Whether dogs are afraid of snakes is not absolute. Some dogs are afraid of it, but some dogs are not afraid of it. Large dogs such as Zang Ao will not be afraid of it. This depends on the situation. Some trained dogs are not afraid of snakes, so whether different types of dogs are afraid of snakes is not absolute.

The real relationship between dogs and snakes

Theoretically, snakes are afraid of any animal with much larger size than it. But it's better not to do this. Newborn calfs are not afraid of tigers. Many pet dogs have never seen snakes. They are curious and will provoke them. If you encounter a poisonous snake, wouldn’t it harm your dog? Pay more attention to your feet when walking on the mountain road. If you find a snake, don’t panic. If you walk away slowly, it’s okay.

Snakes are not afraid of puppies. If snakes fight with puppies, they will tangle the puppies to death, but when they encounter some small bite power, such as Tibetan mastiffs, sheepdogs, etc., snakes are not scary.

Under normal circumstances, neither snake nor dogs will attack actively. Unless it is threatened or violated, it will take the initiative to attack. There is no doubt that snakes rely on poisonous fangs and dogs rely on bites. In terms of size, it seems that dogs should not be afraid of snakes. But isn’t humans very big? Many people are afraid of snakes. I have also seen snakes push dogs into irritability, but dogs dare not step forward. I once watched the Animal World episode, and it seemed that tigers were scared away by cobras.
