Seven Shanghai Composite Index stocks whose stock prices fell, fell between 0.06% and 2.13%. Among them, Thai Beverage fell 2.13% to 0.46 yuan.
Local stock market opened at 9 a.m. on Tuesday (June 3). After the opening of the market, the Straits Times index rose 0.3% or 11.6 points to 3902.19 points.
The total trading volume was 43.24 million shares and the transaction volume was 87.75 million yuan. There were 87 stocks rising and 38 stocks falling.
Most of the stocks in the Sea Index rose, with an increase of between 0.07% and 4.72%. Yangzijiang Shipbuilding led the gains, rising 4.72% after opening the market to 2.22 yuan per share; the increase then expanded to 5.66%. Seatrium rose 1.5% to 2.03 yuan.
