Liverpool fans create murals in memory of Jota. Artist John Carshaw completed a special mural near Anfield to commemorate Portuguese player Jota.
This painting depicts the moment when Jota celebrates the goal. The mural is located on the exterior wall of the Halfway House Bar not far from the Reds’ home court, just a few steps away from where Rota has enjoyed countless happy hours since joining the Wolves in September 2020.
"As Liverpool fans, we know how to face the tragedy and pay tribute to those who have given us a lot," said Carshaw. "I chose this picture to draw because it shows the moment when Jota conveys love to the fans. By leaving him forever in our city, we also gave him this love. Jota gave us so many wonderful memories that he should always be our No. 20 player."
