Roman Sports reported that Sancho's salary and broker commission requirements were obstacles for Rome to sign him.

Although Roma has completed six signings to strengthen the roster, management knows that this is still not enough to keep up with the Champions League contenders. Therefore, negotiations on Sancho are still continuing, and Roma and Manchester United have reached a comprehensive agreement on a transfer fee of 17 million euros.

Sancho proposed his own terms, at least 6.5 million euros annual salary, while Rome's goal was to cut this number to around 5.5 million. In addition, there is a commission of 10 million euros required by Sancho's team, which can only be reached when the Red Devils make up for the difference through high severance fees.

Currently, Roman boss Dan Friedkin is handling the deal himself.
