The English Professional Competition Commission announced that it had imposed a suspended fine of 500,000 pounds on Arsenal for reducing the number of tickets for Manchester United's visiting team in the third round of the FA Cup.
After review, the Professional Competition Committee ruled that Arsenal failed to comply with Article 192 and therefore imposed a suspended fine of £500,000.
Enforcement of this fine will be suspended on the condition that Arsenal confirms that it can comply with this ticket allocation requirement and apply to the third round of the 2025-26 FA Cup, and continue to comply with the relevant regulations for all subsequent rounds of this season.
Reporter James Benge said that in the third round of the FA Cup at the beginning of this season, Arsenal reduced Manchester United's visiting team ticket quota from the prescribed 9,000 to 8,000 on safety grounds, and was therefore fined 500,000 pounds and suspended.
