According to the British media "Daily Mail", Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen are interested in Leeds United's 16-year-old midfielder Sam Alke.

According to the report, 16-year-old Sam Alke is a skilled and technically excellent No. 10 player. He has become the main force of Leeds United's U18 echelon and was selected for the England Youth Team. He has already attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen.

Leeds United have offered the highly anticipated new star a professional contract, but he has not yet agreed to sign, and he will not turn 17 until March next year. European clubs are already aware of the potential to sign him, with scouts from Bundesliga teams Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen paying particular attention to his potential.

The England U17 international is free to join overseas clubs, but he cannot officially sign with a German or other foreign team until he turns 18 in 2027. Bundesliga sides have permanent presences in English clubs' academies to observe and often offer a quicker route to first-team football.

Leeds United signed young forward Harry Gray to his first professional contract earlier this week. The 17-year-old is following in the footsteps of many members of his family who have played for Leeds: his grandfather Frank, great-uncle Eddie, father Andy and brother Archie, now at Tottenham, all played for the club. It is reported that he has agreed to a contract until 2028.

At the same time, team coach Falke is waiting for the physical examination results of many players in order to prepare for Friday's key Premier League game against West Ham United. Leeds United's current lineup is affected by injuries, with Ampadu and Struijk in obviously poor condition, while Okafor and Nionto have not yet returned to full participation in first-team training: Okafor has an adductor injury, while Nionto is recovering from hernia surgery.
