Manchester United beat West Ham 2-1 in the Premier League summer, and legend Ferdinand praised Dogu after the game.
Ferdinand said: "Dorgu will be a key player this season. I think he can contribute more. He has been receiving a six-month adaptation period and we may see him breaking through."
