Have you felt the improvement brought by the new players to the team?
"It feels like shaking the tree again, and the new face brings new vitality and new passion. We have signed very important players, and I think everyone has felt that the team needs to reach a new height, which is what we are pursuing."
The team has been very close to success in the past two or three years, and now how much psychological work do they need to do has ensured that this year can be further?
"The team completely believes in themselves. Their good thing is that they don't need me to give them a blow. They know how good they are and how close we are to our goals. In the end, it is these details that determine whether we can go further, which is what we all want to see. All we need to do is focus on these details and recognize our current positioning. We need to ensure that the basic things are available throughout the season to keep us in the best competitive state, so that we have the greatest opportunity to achieve our goals. This is the work every day and the responsibility of everyone."
The team has introduced and signed four new players. Are you looking forward to more?
"The transfer window is very long, and we are still looking for the right players. In terms of quantity, we are currently in short supply and need to improve the depth and quality of the lineup. We have been paying attention to the transfer market. Before there is a situation, we focus on the existing players and are very satisfied with the situation in the past 10 to 15 days."
What are your expectations for Calafiori's second season at Arsenal?
"It's a very important season for him, and he looks very excited. We know that one of the most important goals we have to achieve this season is to ensure attendance. Indeed, he had two major injuries before, which happened when playing for the Italian national team, and it was inevitable. We hope now that he can stay healthy and play at his due level, and the vitality and stability he brings to the team is something we need very much. He was missing for a considerable period of injury last season, which has a great impact on the team. Hopefully in the second season, with a deeper understanding of the team, plus a little bit of good luck, we can see a better him."
Want to bring in more players?
"I think we have done a very good job so far, and I am very satisfied with the club's needs and improvements to support the team. Berta and his team have also done a great job of pushing everything forward. There is still a long time left in the transfer window, and we still hope to continue to improve the team's strength and continue to work hard for it."
New players are here as planned, are they behind the plan, or are they in place in advance?
"I am very satisfied, and that's all I can say. To complete a player's transfer, we need to consider many aspects, and I am very confident that we will complete these transfers soon."
Is there a lot of pressure this summer?
"It's exciting, you can see the performance of the club owners and our ambitions, and the high agreement between us and all the people involved with the board and Berta. For the new season, everyone is very excited and I'm very positive about it."
On Gabriel's comeback
"We haven't seen players for six weeks and they look more mature when they come back. Gabriel demonstrates his commitment to the club and his growth in the role by signing a new contract, and I'm very happy about it. He played 45 minutes against Watford and looks in good shape. At the end of the season, we were missing a lot of players, but now they are all heading in the right direction and will play a role in this preseason."
