Brighton official news, Evan Ferguson joined Roma on loan, and the striker will compete in Serie A. Previously, according to Romano, the lease agreement contained a buyout option clause of 40 million euros.

Evan Ferguson has joined the Serie A team Roma on loan, with a loan period of one season.

The Irish international has made 80 appearances for Brighton and scored 17 goals.

Evan joined us from the Bohemians in January 2021 and made his first-team debut in the bench in the League Cup 2-0 victory over Cardiff City in August 2021.

His first Premier League goal came in December 2022 against Arsenal. A great form followed that resulted in a total of 6 Premier League goals and 2 assists at the end of that season, and we also qualified for the European tournament for the first time.

In the second half of last season, he was loaned to West Ham United and played 8 times during this period.
